Default Need some input guys

I'm looking to lowering my 04 stang soon. I was thinking of getting the tokico struts n shocks with h&r springs. I've read bad reviews about the steeda rear away bar. Is there a good reliable one? My stang is gonna be a show/ weekend car. I've got my 05 cobalt SS as a daily driver. Thanks Jim

I figure you are having some understeer issues?

This is pretty typical of the SN95, but would not purchase one until after your shocks/struts/springs are installed. You will likely still need one, but you may not and is a tuning device anyway.

I run the MMRSB #5 on my ride and love it. The ability to adjust is what is key here, as very difficult to know how much stiffer to get than current. I originally had the #4 bar and is slightly stiffer than the '99~'04 GT bar at its softest setting (3 more available). I maxed it out and just purchasd the #5 bar only and swapped it out. The "better" move, most of the time is to run stiffer rear springs. I didn't want to do this, as it would not be soo nice on the roads in which I frequent.

Install your other stuff and then re-evaluate your need for a rear bar. If you still need one, I can recommend the MMRSB, but without knowing more about your condition of understeer, cannot say which one.

PS. Welcome to MF's

If you want too much to read on the subject... peep the Official Suspension Guide sticky in this section. My recommendation, as always, is to consider the following PRIOR to any upgrade of your ride...

What are your ULTIMATE goals?

This is what I asked myself prior to going GR-40/SLA and have zero regrets

ok thanks, ill take a look then. the ultimate goal for my car is be quick, look nice, and be reliable. im not too concerned with fuel economy or the ride being "too stiff" cuz its not going to be daily driven. ill do some research tho on the forum. ive also been looking at reviews on american muscle about different products...

OK..... let us know

Before you buy ANY suspension part, please run it by this thread. There are LOTS of claims by manufactures about how their parts perform and some are just not true
