suspension question
Why are some suspension setups advertised to fit 79-04 mustangs (eibach strut/shocks kit) and others are 94-04 (kyb/Tokico struts/shocks)? why would an Eibach strut mount differently than a Tokico?
One difference is the bolts that secure the LCA's between those years. The '94~'98 requires 12mm bolts and the '99~'04 requiires 14mm bolts, IIRC. The rear axle is a bit wider and effects the off-set of wheels a bit and all I can think of at the moment.

It looks like some suppliers split the parts applications along Fox vs SN95/New Edge lines. I don't know offhand just what the differences were, but the later cars were a little bigger and heavier and apparently started out with a slightly stiffer and better handling suspension.
One manufacturer may be specifying slightly different damping curves, while the other is more inclined to "one size fits all" and not worry as much about the car weight difference.
