note: GT500 strut mounts will not work with 2013 struts
In case you're a 2013 owner and wanting an inexpesive drop using just springs (and not also replacing shocks and struts) and were going to use the GT500 strut mounts.
The stock struts on the 2013 have a much larger bolt at the top and it will not fit all the way into the GT500 strut mount that a lot of people use for adding lower springs to the front while keeping their stock struts...
The FRPP Struts do work in the GT500 mounts. The 2013 stock struts do not...

All you had to do was change the springs. A new strut top isn't needed. Lowering springs from 2005-2013 all are the same. V6 or v8 is the only difference cause the v8 is heavier.
The point of the GT500 strut mount is to make 2010 style FRPP struts fit.
