Default Front End Thump

I just bought a 2012 V6 with 36,000 miles. There is a thump from the front when I hit an bump. I jacked it up, pulled both wheels, and disconnected the sway bar. I could find no slop in the sway bar links and could not wiggle the LCR bushings with a wrecking bar. The sway bar bushings also looked intact. What next?
Thanks
Charlie

Default Same thing in my 2012 V6 Premium

I had the same issue and it is just a design flaw in the front suspension. My Ford dealer replaced sway bar bushings and checked it out thoroughly and it is just the height of the speed bump (or other object) and the speed at which you travel over it. It was worrisome but since I had leased the car I forgot about it. It only did it on my right front side.
