Default Would subframe connectors decrease value?

I have a completely original, or original parts, 5.0 vert in great shape, that handles less than perfect even though all components seem to be in great shape. What is the forums general consensus in adding weld in sub-frame connectors decreasing a vehicles value on a very low mileage car. Would I be better suited to putting in energy suspension poly bushings or frame stiffening? especially as far as keeping it closer to orig. I know there are bolt on sub-frame connectors, but hear they really need to be welded in to take advantage of increased rigidity. Thanks for any input.

Welcome!

As much as these cars benefit from SFCs, I would not worry one bit about it affecting the value. In fact, I'm inclined to consider them a necessary first mod. The only way they'd decrease the car's value is if the wrong ones were installed, or were installed improperly.

The full-length weld-in ones are indeed the way to go. Bolt-in ones are very tempting, as most of us don't own a welder. But that's a waste of time IMO. A shop with an experienced welder on-hand is likely to charge somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 labor for installation.

If you intend to keep the car close to original, don't be shy to upgrade the unseen components to improve driveability.

I agree completely, don't worry about wrecking the originality of Foxbody Mustang, regarding sub-frame connectors anyways. I don't think the Foxbody will ever reach that level of collectability.

Of course........don't blame me if your does lol.

Good luck

The car is not that rare so I wouldn't worry about decreasing value.

If anything it should help value.

Not a Fox or a vert, but I put weld in sub frame connectors on my S197 and they are great. The whole side of the car can be lifted with a floor jack on the sub frame connector.
