Default DIY Strut Tower Brace

New to forum, just looking to see if anyone has done a DIY strut tower brace and if so do you have the plans or specs. I like to fab stuff myself and would love to try this on my own and add a little flair to it.

I have a Boss 302 brace hanging in my garage if you need something to start with.

That's what is supposed to be in it, but the previous owner removed it for some reason. BTW, where and how much?

I'm in Indiana. I'll ship it to you for $70. It's really just cosmetic. Some guys take it off to save weight. If you put a CobraJet intake on, you'll need 5mm spacers to make it fit. If you later on add the GT500 upper strut mounts, the bolts are too short for the spacers. That's why it's hanging in my garage.

Dang! I did J&M cc plates, no problem. Of course I have a 3.7.

Looks like it will fit. Aftermarket upper strut mounts are only a problem if you also have a 5.0 with CobraJet intake, which requires the 5mm spacers.
