My 86' SVO hurst shift **** totally breaking apart.


Is anyone perhaps selling theirs (in good condition) or know a place that can restore (with pictures?)

A guy by the name of Bob Tweedy will re-cover the ***** and also steering wheels. I believe he is fairly expensive, but his work is excellent. Unless you are worried about staying SVO specific you could just put on any **** you liked as long as the thread pattern matched.

Will he restore it to exactly how it was from factory?
"Gear visual" at top and the "H" at the bottom of the shift ****. Would you happen to have any pictures of his work?

If he can't make it look like NOS, I'm not sure what the difference between getting it re-covered and buying a cheaper Ford leather shift **** (exactly the same size)?

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure lol I want to say that it is as close to stock as you can get them, but I'm just not sure. Mine is in pretty good condition, so I never looked into it too much. He's over on svoca.com, just do a search for his stuff. I'm positive there is something under the product review section and probably a couple other places too.
