98 COBRA CAMS
SO IM THINKING WHEN I GET THIS NEW MOTOR I DEFINITLY WANT TO DO A CAM JOB ON THE MOTOR. IM NOT GONNA SUPER CHARGE THE CAR I HAVE A WET NOS SYSTEM IM GONNA PUT IN. WHATS CAMS R GOOD? I REALLY DONT EVEN KNOW ANY BODY WITH A 96-98 CAMED COBRA ANY INFO ON A GOOD CAMS WOULD BE GREAT. OR IF YOURS IS CAMED HOW IS IT? IS IT WORTH THE MONEY OR SHOULD I LOOK TO SPEND IT SOME WHERE ELSE? ANY FEED BACK WOULD BE GREAT
The bottom end of the 96-98 cobras is not forged so 390 hp is the most you want to get out of it with the stock bottom end. Our blocks are the strongest though, so rebuild the bottom end and the sky is the limit.
i wouldnt even bother with doing cams on ur car. too much money for the little gain in my opinion. you will be happy with the nitrous though
i would spend the 2k it would cost to buy cams and strengthen ur bottom end.

i was stuck on this question too when i was choosing cams, but theres alot of questions you should ask youself before you think about buying them 1. do i want a full blown race car or do i still want it to be a daily driver. 2. in the future what kind of forced induction am i wantng to add. just my 2 pennies
