I have a 1997 Mustang Cobra. I was just told that I spun a rod bearing. Now what Ford is saying is that it is because I was running 10W-30 oil instead of 5W-20 or 5W-30. They say that the 10W-30 is too thick for the rod bearings to get lubed. I would like the opinion of others to see if that is true and if anyone else out there has run into the same problems. Any kinda feedback at all would be awesome. Thank..
