I am having to replace my clutch soon and i wanted to get a lighten flywheel. Does anyone know how much the stock flywheel weighs on a 1999 cobra svt? And what weight should i replace it with?

not sure about the weight of your factory unit, but im sure any aluminum flywheel you go with will be substantially lighter

 

Ohh thanks. Do you have any that you recommend? And also the clutch. I think i am going to upgrade to a stage 2. Would centerforce be a good company?

ive heard to many bad things about centerforce...ide def get a spec clutch

they are affordable...unless you had a power adder or something, ide say the king cobra would be fine

 

Took the car to the dealer today. My friend (mechanic) told me i could of worped the flywheel and clutch.[:@]. He told me he test drove another cobra and it did the same as mine was doing. He said bring it back on saturday and he will pull it apart to check it out.
