Hey all!

I am now a part of the SVT Club, as of Saturday! I picked up a mint 2001 True Blue Mustang Cobra with only 18,000 miles on it. Oh it is sexy and I will post up pictures once I pick it up from the shop tomorrow.

In 2003 I bought a brand new Sonic Blue GT and did a few minor mods.
Steeda X pipe with flowmaster mufflers
Steeda short shifter
Diablo chip
K&N CAI

Unfortunately I had to sell it to stay and college and drove a truck for the last 5 years before finally making the switch back to a Mustang.

I have a question for you guys. Anyone know of a good, honest mechanic in the Seattle, Washington area?

just bought a 99 svt cobra last week

 

New owner of a '98 Cobra...haven't even gotten to drive it yet due to a deployment. Can't wait to get both myself and the car shipped home!

Im thinking of buying 2001 Cobra with factory replaced warranty motor. The new motor has 17k miles on it and has been babied shouldd I steer clear of a cobra with a replaced motor?

 

Luckily the friend Im buying it from is not in a hurry give me a month or so to round up rest of the cash.... Gonna be nice to be back in a Mustang!!!!!!!

 

04 cobra coupe here. I spend more time over on svtperformance and modularfords though. more traffic on those sites for the cobras.

I've been visiting this forum from time to time lately though. Especially the classics forum. I was looking at buying a 66 fastback and restoring it.

whats going on! Not new to owning a cobra but new to this page. Got a 96 mystic cobra with 96k which i've owned for the last 5 years. Haven't done much except slp x-pipe with flowmaster cat-back and a steeda intake. Looking to loose the flowmaster catback and put a new suspension and gears on her this month.
