I know this is a stang site and all, but I figured maybe one or two of you SVT guys might know something on this subject. Is the Adrenaline cancelled, or is it still to be released the summer of '07 like i've read? Many sites say one way, while many say the other as well. I just thought I'd see if anyone knew the straight story or not, thanks!

 

Im not sure if its cancelled or not. I work at a ford dealership detailing cars and out of the 3 sportrac's that we have got in, none have been the adreline version. Ill let you know if we get any adreline's in and ill ask the owner if he knows anything about the adreline version. One neat little fact about them is that they have heated windshields!

 

The SVT Sport Trac Adrenalin was cancelled quite awhile ago. In fact SVT itself was scheduled to be shut down April 1st. They are still wrapping up a few things right now, but no new SVT products are being developed. The last thing to come from SVT will be the Shelby GT500, and it won't even be officially an SVT model...it does still have a couple of SVT badges on it though since it was too late in the program to change the tooling (among other things).

SVT is NOT cancelled. it has been pretty much dismantled, but they've said that they intend to keep one car and 1 truck on the market, instead of the 5 they claimed just a few months ago. wich of course they havent even begun planning.

we'll just have to wait and see what ford is going to really do.

 

BCisme, that was sort of my thoughts too... I heard the adrenaline was going to be cancelled with the whole Ford Way Forward plan, but then when they recently announced to have 'one car (gt500) and one truck (?)' i just sort of assumed that the 'truck' would be the SUT they already were a long ways into. I dont know i guess, I hope it comes out... I love performance stangs, but its a bit tough to off-road with them! haha
