I have a 96 cobra convertible and i made the mistake of putting 373's in her when i first got her. but now from what i read 410's should of been the minimal. I PLan on boosting and i have 295/35/18 on the back. so the questions are would it be a waste of money only stepping it up to 410's since i allready have 373's or do i step it up to 430's? Would i be able to get away with 430's since i have 18's. also she's a daily driver and once in awhile i go on 5-10 hour trips with her. want to thank you in advance. Any help with be appreciated.
4.30 are great for the track, 4.10's would be more practical on a daily driver but who's practical when it comes to stangs? Another downside to the 4.10 is that you have to shift right before the trap on a 96 cobra, but that is just what I heard.
4:30s would be rediculous on a daily driver...i had 3:73's on myne, it was great for the street. I considered 4:10's at one point, but it just isnt practical for something i drive 300 miles a week
Roll w/ the 4:10's man, should only put you at like 3300 RPM in 5th on the highway, a gas hit, but not much. Guess it all depends on how much you race and how much you travel.
ya i was leaning towards the 4:10's the only thing is i allready have 3:73's do you think performance wise there will be that much of a difference? enough that its worth switching the gears?
