how can you tell if its a 99,00,01,02,03,04 cobra when one pulls up next to you ??

 

There is only a 1999 and 2001 Cobra and 2003-2004 Cobra. The things to look for on a 99/01 are a differant front bumper cover and hood from 03-04. Also, the 99 cobras have non-smoked headlights, although I cant remember for the 01's but I think they are smoked. From the rear, 99/01 have orange on the botton corner of the tail lights and 03-04's have a black plastic insert under the cobra letters. Rims are also differant and 03-04 Cobra's get painted side mirrors. Just pay attention to the details and you will be able to pick'em off a mile away. Also, if you hear one whining, its an 03-04 spankin someone!

 

well there is a 2000 cobra R (300 produced) it will will have the big cobra R wing and hood but the kit really doesnt matter because anybody can clone a body kit oh and look for the v-6 bumper with the dual side exhaust 5.4 litre 385 horses 385 foot lbs odds of you seeing one of those on the street...... probably one in a trillion

 

03-04 cobras spoiler's connect, all other mustangs spoiler's have a space between them.

 

well i know that 99 cobras say mustang on the back bumber and 03-04's have cobra.

the o3/04 have the heat exchanger hood on them its hard to miss.
