Default IRS BRACE?

How difficult is it to install an IRS brace and is it worth it? Does it help stop wheel hop?

It is easy to install and comes with the necessary hardware. Just a matter of replacing some bolts. It will not stop wheel hop, but it will protect your pumpkin from flexing and the diff cover from breaking. A very useful mod and cheap insurance.

I was just in the process of ordering an IRS brace and bushings from RPMOutlet. I thought it would stop, or at least help wheel hop. Glad I didn't spend the money on that yet. Anyone have any info or experience on what will cure wheelhop, besides an expensive live axle swap? Drag radials maybe?

A buddy of mine did the bushings, brace, and lowering springs and he said he barely gets any wheel hop anymore. Its cheap insurance. I need to put mine on.

I just ordered an IRS brace, IRS crossmember and IRS bushings. I want my IRS to be able to handle the power when I launch it with my drag radials.

Let me know how it goes and how much of a pain it is to install, where did you order all your stuff from and how much was it. How much were the 555 nitto tires?

I got the irs parts from steeda and rpm outlet. The nittos came from steeda too $168 each I think. I will let you know how the install goes and what kind of difference it makes.

Billetflow makes an irs brace for 150 shipped. You can get it a couple different colors too.
