I have been able to find a lot of information about what was recalled. So that is not what I need from this thread. What I do need, it the actual recall number that came on the notices that were sent out.
I called the Ford dealership in my town and had them run the VIN on my car. They told me a few things that were replaced but said nothing about the IM or the after cat exhaust replacements. The service guy said that if I had the actual recall notice number, that would help in finding out exactly what needed to be done. In fact, he said that he hadn't even heard of the IM being a problem. I find that hard to believe, but what do I do, right?
Anyway. So if anyone has that number, please share it. Thanks.

it should be called performance recall or something like that i got a ford dealership to print me out everything that they have ever done to the car. i keep it in my glove box.

I dug out my paper work for you..

My print out I have says:

99B27 - SVT Recall Kit.. Kit-Intake Man, Qty. 1, XR3Z-9E473-AA.. It also lists 'Fluid-Coolant' so I'm thinking they ONLY changed the intake manifold and NOT any exhaust.. Most people replace the exhaust anyways so as long as the intake was fixed I'm happy..

ex/honed intake, exhast which anit that good,plus a perf tune is progammed in to it ,thats it , i had a 99 cobra thats how i know.
