I went ahead and ordered the AFCO Pro Series from rpmoutlet. I'll get the resivoir soon, but I figure this is the better of the two for now. When I bought it, it had a 3" pulley on it already, but theres no chip in the ECU or program loaded from a tuner. How unsafe is this? Exhaust smells normal and she runs great, so I figure she's ok as long as I'm not beating up on her too much. Am I wrong?

Nice choice, easy installation and great performance.

James, any special tools I need for the swap? I've read that the ABS unit will need to be moved back a bit. Any truth to than?

If you mean the AFCO swap, then no it is not true. You do not have to modify anything on the car to install the AFCO PRO.

Why? Just leave the 3 inch pulley on. You should be fine. Just don't give it hell until you get your AFCO installed. You need a dyno tune just to be safe, but you can still drive it with the 3 inch pulley until you get it tuned.

After I installed my 2.81 pulley and got on the dyno I discovered my car was running rich on top between 4000 and 7000 rpms. 1st pull on the dyno was 421rwhp then we leaned it a bit. 2nd pull was 440rwhp then we leaned it a bit more. 3rd pull was 461rwhp and it was not too rich and not too lean so we left it at that.

I was just worried that the 3 inch pulley without a tune would run my A/F wild. I recently put in the NGK TR6 plugs and the factory ones looked fine. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Thanks man.

I'm assuming you got a chip burned. About how much did you pay to get her dynoed and tuned?
