03 Cobra value?
I have an 03 Cobra and I have been told it is rare due to having the MSO sent directly to me rather than the state DMV.
I dont know if this is true or not. I have it registered but but I do not have a title as the DMV will not give one with out me giving up the MSO. As I do understand why, if it increases the value of the car then I will not give it up.
Any thoughts?

manufacturer's statement of origin. perhaps the occurrence is rare, but this has nothing to do with the value of your car. in fact, why the hell would anyone pay more for a car without a title? id get one asap actually.
I spoke with a collector this afternoon, he stated that it is important as the car has never been titled to anyone. This means if I would sell that car it woudl be to the first owner even though I purchased it.
I dont know just looking for answers.[

its just an mso dude...its not worth anything. all cars come with them from the factory. i dont know why you dont just get it titled because if you get pulled over you will get hit with driving an unlicensed vehicle

and technically couldnt you just get rid of the old title and then get the car retitled and voila, be the "original owner"?
If you ever plan on driving your car it wouldn't matter at all. If you have an MSO, w/ no title and you put the car directly into storage, then yes, in 20 years it will be more valuable than the others. Only because you'll be selling a classic car w/ less than 20 miles on the clock, and "Never Been Titled" It would go for more that way. But again, you're probably going to be driving it, so you may as well just get the title. Somebody probably just droped the ball, which is why it came to you directly in the first place.
