Hey Stang lovers,
I am close to buyin an 03,04 cobra. Is there any difference between each year. Do you guys like the color WHITE on a cobra?
Ive heard all the good things about cobras in there any cons about them that you guys got.

there were some overheating problems with some of the 03 cobras and i guess a couple other issues they adressed and fixed for the 04 model year. I personally have an 03 and i have never had any problem with it at all. i do like the white with polished cobra wheel. i think it's one of the better color combos available. i guess one other bad thing about them is the wheel hop. it can be fixed with some suspension parts but it can be a little spendy. the more power you put into the car the more you got to watch the hop.

 

white cobras = very cool

 

I normally dont like white but I like white on a Cobra. Its a good color. Just like blownsvt said about the heating issue, I have an 03 and never had any problems either. The seats are different in the 03's there black leather with gray suede insert. The 04 are all one color.

 

2003 had Zinc Yellow and for 2004 they switched to Screamin Yellow (same color as 05 and up)

Thats not quite right my friend. I know the 03's had the interior upgrade which some cars came with the two tone interior, black with red inserts. In 04, they were still two tone, but it was black with a grayish suede in the middle. Not sure if all the 03's came with the upgraded interior or if it was a special on some models.

You got to go with what color you like... I had a really cool white 94 GT some years back... now I own two, a '97 black/tan and a pacific green/tan SVT... If I was to have one repainted though, I would go with a dark olive green with two thick black rally stripes running down the center... You can't tell me that that is not cool!
