Headers or no headers
On my 96 GT and my 01 cobra i put bbk long tubed headers and it was a pain to put on but the sound of them are sweet you can total tell when there is a car with headers on. With my 03 cobra I dont think im going to put headers on because its to much work but the sound is awsome. The light does stay on if you dont put o2 eliminators on. but good luck on what you do.
go ahead with the headers imo. If youve got time and wrenches you can do it, but be VERY careful not to snap manny studs or anything. So if you can do your own work do it, if not reconsider or dig deep into those pockets
OK, thanks for all your feed back. The end resul is the kb super charger. I will not be doing any work myself, everything will be done at a shop. I have purchased the pullies the intake and the brace for the rear end. I am putting the SLP exhaust. currently I have QMP Exhaust. I am trying not to redo stuff. so I am changing everything I need to the first time around. So If I put headers later I won't need to change the X pipe twice.
I will be making a lot of mods soon. I am in the process of purchasing all the parts. I only use this car for fun and driving and racing on the weekends, I have 3 other vehicles I have for everyday use. Thanks for your feed back it gives me some stuff to think about.
