Default JLT CAI - Info

Hey fellas, I'm looking at purchasing a CAI real soon for 0my 3' cobra. Does anyone know if JLT's CAI claims of 26-30+ RWHP are real? Any misc. problems to watch out for...installation, retune, etc.? If anyone has ANY info its appreciated.

Or if anyone feels another product is better please tell and why. Thanks everyone!

i have it too on my 03. and i would suggest a re-tune to get optimal gains from the system. there were no issues with the install on mine. oh, and i would suggest getting the body colored one, it looks sharp.

Whats up with your supercharger pulley? The belt looks weird.

the idler is too big, and if the belt is routed correctly, i kills the belt in 5 minutes. this is the way it came when i bought it, i will be changing pulleys and fixing the situation soon.

No matter how good a product is (JLT i have herd nothing but good things) i would not expect anywhere near the mfg claims. Expect 5-10 hp out of it. Then with a tune more.

5-10 HP for a GT maybe, but these S/C cobras get much more than that. Not knocking you at all, but I'd say the numbers are in the low 20's on a bone stocker and more with pulley and exhaust work.

Yea i was going to say 5-10 hp. Definately not. A supercharged car normally gets double.

When you go to JLT's website and you click on the CAI, you can choose your color choice. Its in a box and you just scroll down. I think you can get flames as well.
