Just bought a 2004 mystichrome cobra with only 9k miles on. The previous owner installed a borla and steeda intake. Just wondering how much rwhp/tq it'll pick up with a catted x-pipe? What brand is the best or what's everyone going with? I don't really want to make it any louder, will this influence that all?

 

even a catted x pipe is still going to make it louder. I just had a magnaflow cat back that is not nearly as loud as the borla and when i added by catted x pipe it got 3 times as loud.

 

A catted x-pipe will make it louder.

well... how much rwhp/tq do the cars usually pick up from a catted x pipe anyways? the reason i dont want to make it any louder is because i have an lt1 z28 with longtubes no cats and cammed and it sets off car alarms, so i'm really not wanting that much attention when i'm in the cobra.

well its not going to be that LOUD but, it will pick up the sound a bit.
