i have an04 cobra with the usual addons(bassani exhaust,2.93 pulley,cai,auxillary idler.tuner).My check engine light is coming on. the code is a p0153 wich is the passenger side front o2 sensor.Ive checked all the possible problems(exhaust leak,air leak from air inlet tube,maf wires in good repair,) ive also replaced o2 sensor twice and keeps coming on.does anyone have an answer out there for me???thanks.

 

Do you have an aftermarket xpipe? If so is it off road or catted?

I hear that even though you get a catted mid pipe, theres the possibility that MIL eliminators might have to be used. If you have a tuner, turn the O2's off. If not, get some MIL eliminators and see what happens.

 

+1 the high flows can push the O2 sensors beyond their range so it may still kick the CEL on. You may want to look at Bosch O2 sensors and see if they make a racing application for yours.
