I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not an '03 cobra blower will fit on a '97 cobra motor. If not, what is the major differences in the two motors that would make it not work? Thanks!!
First off, the compression on the '97 is too high for the amount of boost you'd get from a stock Terminator blower. You wouldn't want more than 5-6 lbs. The stock Eaton is around 8.5 lbs.
If the compression is to high, how come you can run a Vortech on it at 12 psi with no problem? Or even a Kenne Belle at 10 psi? Would it fit is the question I'm wanting to know.

First of all, what Cobrabob said is correct. You can run any amount of boost you'd like to, shoot, go for broke, run 20psi. However, your engine won't last long at anything more than 8psi with your engine setup, in current form.
Anything can be done if you have the know-how and right tools and a little creativity. But knowing your limits is a whole other thing. Why not dump the money into building something else and dropping it in?
If I tune it right, then I will have no problem with 8.5 pounds. Why not build another motor, If I had enough money to do so then I would. If I can get my hands on another motor that's another story. Thanks for the input.
I would rather do that, but messing with the '03 blower, it will cost alot less. The idea was mainly for sh**s and giggles. Either way, I would much rather go pro charger. I have installed a few of these for with friends and I was incredibly impressed.
