Default Steeda shifter

hey everyone,

I have a 96 Cobra. It is nearly impossible to hit second gear cleanly when u get on it in first. Anything above 4500 rpm will result in a grinding of the gear. This drives me crazy. I think i may just need to adjust the rear stopper but I am not sure. My question is what could be the problem? and Will the triax shifter fix this problem? I could really use your help because I am currently unable to get all of the performance out of my car.

Thanks for your help

I dont know if it will fix the problem you are having but it is a great shifter. You could have bent shift fork or worn synchros.
