1999 Ford Mustang Cobra Vibration

My car experiences horrible vibrations at highway speeds. When i accelerate they seem to go away but as soon as i let off the gas pedal they come back. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what was the solution?

welcome to the forums...when was the last time you had your tires balanced? there is a forum in general tech about a guy experiencing vibrations, chime in there and you may find your answers...what mods you got on your car btw?

i had the same thing in my 01...went to an alum. driveshaft n prob went away...although that can be a pricy solution depending on what you go with its something to look into

driveshaft. get it rebalanced

did rebalancing the driveshaft work? Im having the same problem in my 2000.

I've always heard that was due to slack in the driveshaft. I've gotten used to it. It's kind of annoying but I've gotten used to it.

Engine mounts, harmonic balancer, driveshaft.

Tires have nothing to do with it or it would be present at speeds between 60-80mph regardless of whether you're on it or not.
