I own a tri-ax and am very pleased with its performance, but apparently everyone on the site perfers MGW's short(er) shift and transition to the tri-ax...either would be a good investment...i would base it on price
Thanks for the advice. As you said, I'll take a look at the pricing to determine which to get, but as long as they are in the same ball park, it shouldn't matter
I would have to reccomend the MGW as well myself. Its only $180 and its so versatile. Its got 180 degree adjustment along with an up and down adjustment. Great quality shifter.
yeah the place that makes them is in aug GA, which is right down the road from me and i talked to the owner about it and he said that it was among the best in the market and he compared it to my b&m ripper that i have and there is no comparison the mgw is better in every way!
I used the Steeda TriAx and was fairly happy with it. Although I've never used the MGW, techology wise it is superior to anything else out there. I have had more than one discussion with George about his product. I'm very impressed and surprised that his is the only shifter to break out of the traditional mold from which the others were set. Like I said, techology wise the MGW is superior (and different). I've yet to hear of anyone not being happy with it. So if I were looking for a shifter, my only choice would be MGW. JMO.
