lightweight body + gobs and gobs of torque + mid engine = LOTS of oversteer and oversteer leads to steering into a tire wall. the '00 R is very balanced very torquey but still has a tendency to understeer (nothing an adjustable rear swaybar couldnt fix) If ford just made a 98 cobra r with the 5.4 dohc and an IRS i would buy one

well lets take a terminator and rip out the creature comforts and make up for the money difference with a pulley and tuner maybe a catback. probally go more im being generous. Cobra R owned. Yes it IS n/a but it doesnt matter, its whats faster at the end.

the 03 cobra is heavier isnt balanced at all and because of the blower (more so pullied) makes so much unuseable torque down low that you would have to increase the throttle gradually where as the cobra r is a high rpm motor and you can get on the gas harder and faster. this is what made the ford GT so hard to drive. im sure if i rented it for more than a day i could learn how to drive a ford GT better.

not to mention the cobra r has better brakes.

Any time you want to show mehow my 03 Cobra motor is beaten in the 1/4 mile (by antthing n/a), or going around corners, bring it on!!!!!

Bring lots of cubic inches, a knarly suspension, and a DAMN good driver.

This thead cracks me up - ROTFLOL
