lowering 99' Cobra

Default lowering 99' Cobra

hello, i was wondering if i lowered my mustang will i need to get caster camber plates? i am thinking of the ford racing springs it says it lowers the height 1.5" thanks for the help

it is recommended but i have yet to get some for mine and my alignment has been fine for about 5 months now.

I lowered mine about a year ago.. I only did the springs and got a 4 wheel allighment.. Everything is good..

when i bought my car it had mm caster plates already so i wouldnt know. but my tread wear is awesome....for the front, i keep roasting off the rears

Lowered mine 1.5" with some Saleen springs and its been absolutely fine for me. Never needed to do anything else to it. It really makes the car look great to. Go for it.

i just lowered a 99 cobra the other day...and the alignment came out fine with out them

You don't need Caster Camber plates if you lowered your car however I hear it improves ride quality a bit.

H&R give the performance look with the back a little higher than the front, and they improve handling and have 2 lines of them, one with a decent lower and one with a pretty extreme lower. Ive heard alot of good things about them. Caster camber plates are ALWAYS a good idea when doing new springs, not necessary though
