I am not condoning this in any way, but you do know that you can put your key into the ignition, press in the trip counter reset, hold it in while you turn the key into the on posistion, and be able to access a digital speedo.

Don't crank the car yet, just keep pressing the counter reset. It will scroll through various items such as temp, oil pressure, rpm, etc. When you find what you want you then start the car and it will stay up until you turn the car back off.

I have seen a video of one guy running his up to 169.

But dude, that kind of stuff is going to get you or someone else hurt.

Just my 2 cents.

Yea, I will never do that again. I just had abuot 3 miles and no traffic on a 4 land wide road. I never plan on going that fast again.

You put the key in the igntion, and move it one click forward, so your accessories turn on. Make sure your tripometer is on & not your odometer, otherwise it won't work.

Hold it down for a few seconds and wait for it to blink and your guages will go mental for a second, you can crank the car as soon as you get into this mode though, no need to keep it off. You can flip through them while you are driver, but it can get alittle hairy if you don't look up at the road once in a while LOL.
