A ported blower will definitely help! Stiegemeier port jobs are the most popular. You cansee gainsanywhere from 30-60HP depending on what stage port job you decide to go with. Here's a link to their page.

Honestly my car wasnt any faster with the port. I was pretty unhappy with the performance. I didnt really notice the cooler temps either, it did whine louder though. And 60rwhp is what they say but not true. I had a stage 4 port as well.

must be something wrong spray, who ported it because if not dont right it doesnt help at all. You will see a gain but not something as drastic as a whipple or KB obviously. Its a good investment if your planning to upgrade other things for a better airflow.

Was your car NOT tuned spray?

it definitly helps combined with a lower pulley it will definitly give you and increas of at least 40-60 rwhp. eg. the highest numbers i know of with just an upper pulley unported blower is in the 450's the lowest i have seen with a stage 3-4 port and a lower combo is 496, the best i know of is around 530ish.

With a Steigy Stage IV port, your looking to get anywhere around 490-510 on average with the correct pulley size. So yes, if your trying to get more out of your eaton, you almost have to port it cuz it starts to become a heater on top of the motor when you start to spin it too fast. So its usually either port it, or go buy a Whipple or KB.
