What would be the first thing, in your opinion, that should be upgraded on a 01 cobra convertible?
Car is completely stock.
All help would be greatly appreciated

Exhaust. You pick up some HP and your car will sound a lot better.

1) Exhaust
2) Springs
3) Gears (I went w/ 4.10s)
4) Dyno Tune
5) Sweet *** rims

 

exhaust is always number one imo, get that sound as well as a couple ponies.

Exhaust really won't buy you much... but can make some sweat sounds though... If working with a limited budget, I would get rear gears and thenlower the car (more than just lowering springs involved if you want to do it right) and then maybe exhaust or wheels after that...

 

About the exhaust, if I was to do full exhaust, wouldn't I have to get a programmer to get it to run right?

Gears, according to my maual I have 3.27's, if I was to jump up to 4.10's, where is your tac at 70 mph. Mine right now is around 1700.
