I am thinking of buying a programmer for my 99 Cobra. I am stuck and not able to decide between the Diablosport and the Hypertech III. If anyone has any experience with either of these programmers I would appreciate some input.

 

I hear more good things about SCT. If you have the cash it's better to have a local tuner do it for you.

 

Its better for you to get dyno and tuned you waste a little more money but you will be happy.

I agree have a pro do it. A TON of kids try to do that crap and ruin their engines. I dont trust any of that crap form aftermarket companies. If you have someone do it for you, and they mess up you can always have them fix it.

If you do it.. .well..... 4.6 32Vparts aint cheap.

 

My father is a professional mechanic, so I was going to have him install and tune it. He says to buy a Diablosport and I was inching towards a Hypertech so I thought I would ask the forum.

Ahhh.. in that case, do it. He would know whats best I'm sure.

 

I have the Predator for my 99'but some of my friends have the SCT

 

Diablosport>Hypertech. But I have heard SCTis by far the best.
