18X9.5s
I was going to post this in the tires section but it looks like people have already done that with no luck. I just ordered a set of 18x9.5 Steeda Ultra lite II's and I want to know what the best tire size, and tire would be for street and strip. I got an e-mail from them and the guy said 285/35ZR18 would be good all the way around but I want more opinions before I get them.

RE: 18X9.5s
ive got bfgoodrich 265/35zr18's on my car now, i used to have the same rate but 555R's on saleen rims before i messed those up[:@]...there shouldnt be any problem with the 285's at all, i wouldn't go higher though...but the 265's sit fine with no problem

RE: 18X9.5s
ive heard nothing but good things about NITTO 555R, 285s will fit nicely but you might be able to go 295, i wouldnt do that all the way around either way though. Get something like 275 in the front

RE: 18X9.5s
Im thinking about putting the Nitto 555 extreme ZR radials with 285/35zr18 in the rear and 265/35zr18 in the front. Would this be a good combo? I have no clue when it comes to tires [8D]And what is the difference between the three nitto 555 tires on steeda? 555 extreme ZR, 555R, and 555R II?
