Help me out here. Why when you give it some gas, it revs up and stays there for a second before dropping?
A buddy of mine told me that there is a mod or something that can be done to stop this. So it more instant drop. Any of you know what this is?

What are you driving and what are your mods?

 

It should fall quickly. The faster it falls, the better. If an engine is properly balanced, it will rev up quick and drop quick.

 

my dads 99 gt does it, and so does my 99 cobra we wash the motor down and i guess it washes the oil of the throttle cable where it meets the throttle body, spray some wd40 on it cable and work it back and forth and see if that helps/
