I have been racing f-bodys all my life, and never really liked mustangs untill I saw this 01 Cobra on a lot on my way to work. I love my cobra, but didn't know much about them untill now. I wish I new what I know now and waited to get the 03-04 cobra. Anyway I am in the military, and about to get a re-enlistment bonus, and want to put a Vortech V-2 SQ on my ride. I just want to hear what you terminator guys think. I live in NC and know a shop that works only on Mustangs. They can put it in and tune it all right there. About how long does the install and tune take? and $$$. If it is easy to put the s/c in I want to do it, but then it is an hour drive to the shop.....will that drive hurt it before the tune?????

I'm not usre how hard an install it would be, but i would let a shop do it. It should only take them a day or so to have itall done including the tune. If you do install itself yourself, you can drive it with without the tune. You really have to stay off the boost or you could damage something.
