Ill be in a market for a cobra here in a few years. Paying off my gtp first, and Harley. I am looking at a 99 or 01, How do these compare to ls1 fbodys? I was in the fbody scene for a long time always been fond of cobras. I was thinking of a 03 but there almost twice the price of a 99 or 01.

So I was thinking of those models and would like some nice power d1sc.

Also the 99 or 01 will be cheaper car price/insurance. Means more money for mods.

How do these motors respond to mods? I know they love gears, but what else?

the prices of 03's and 04's will drop a little, possibly down to your price range.

Well you can run a supercharger on them but you cant run to much boost the are not forged internals like the 03 and 04 cobras. Thats one thing they have over the 99 and 01 and they have the supercharger. Udp dont work to great you really dont notice a big difference with them one thing is they have alot of top end but not alot of bottom end. good luck.
