my buddies 03 cobra has the emblems turned backwards....they are facing the doors....did the previous owner do that or did any come from the factory that way? Anyone know why they are like this?

 

cobra is supposed to face foward, it could just be some owner dicking around but it could also be a sign of a crap body repair job, make sure everything looks square on your front end, otherwise its just odd

Ive heard some people's came that way from the factory. There was a discussion about that on svtp. Mine face the front.

 

my 01 was purchased new and the emblem on the drivers side was facing the door that seem stranged to me to but the dealer said thats how they received the car from svt

 

If they both face the same way, just swap sided and they will be right. If only one does, it means that the line ran out of either the right-hand or left-hand emblem just before shift change on a Friday. Hey.....that's what the union shop is all about!!
