I have heard alot about when the 99 cobra came out, owners were dynoeing them and the horsepower ford said and the horsepower that came up was totally different? does anyone know the real rear wheel horsepower for a 99 stock cobra. Also are there any good mod suggestions?

 

the lack of hp comes from some deficiencies that ford had a recall to correct, and most 99 cobra's recieved the recall, which brought the engine hp up to advertized numbers. Check to make sure this recall is done to if you plan on buying or have a 99 cobra.

call your ford dealer, give a vin, and ask if costumer satisfaction recall 99b27 has been done. Thats all it takes
