Default Tire question

Well im in the market for a new set of tires. I want a tire that is good for both handling andtraction. I was looking at nitto dr but i hear that they will make for a not as smooth ride.Im considering putting the same stock tire back on the car causethe carrode so nice.Is there any tires you guys can suggestthat has good handling and traction and the ride quailty of the stock tire.Ihardly ever go to the track and my car is only driven when it is nice out. It does not see rain or snow. Thanks i know there is a lot of questions. BTW its a 2004 cobra.

I'm on BFgoodrich's KDW's and besides the compliments i get on their design, i have no complaints about quality, grip or ride...very pleased. My previous tire was Nitto 555r's and would say these two tires are comparable

just remember that the only 315 dr that will fit on your stock cobra rims is the nitto, the bfg an mt's are too wide for stock wheels.

alright thats exactally what i wanted to hear. People keep telling me that dr is going to hurt ride quailty but i told them it really wasn't going to hurt it as much as they thought.

If you are only using it as a street car, don't waste money on R compound tires (like drag radials).
BFG KD or the newer KDWwill be some of the best out there for you. Great quality tires.
I've run some of the 'top' tires from a lot of companies, and will stick to BFG products from now on.

Toyo T1R's FTW.

Just dont do burnouts in them, they're heavy on the bank.

235/40 Front 275/35 Rear = $750 not including mounting.
