(i figure as many times as i've seen him praise it ican answer this one)

the engine won't "blow" if you're not trying to be paul walker. be conservative and build up your bottom end to withstand it...otherwise only do about 20 hp per cylinder (thats the figures i hear). dont be a hero and use common sense and it's a great mod.

lol, damn the fast and the furious. And damn who ever thought of crushing that saleen. I almost didn't watch the movie cuz of that.
So you actually can use nitrous on a stock 5.0 engine and it will stand it? I have heard a lot on both sides of this. But it does make sense that if you dont use it like Paul Walker that it will do. So is there an amount of HP that the bottom end will hold up to? As I have allready added a few doo dads. Thanks in advance.

You can easily use nitrous on a stock 5.0. NOS reccomends not to shoot anything larger than a 100 shot on it. Others claim 125. I personally go by kit manufacturer's suggestions and play it safe

s**t, my Saturn can take a 75 shot and keep going strong for over 100K miles (been done on motors with over 125K miles)

The smart thing to do (although i dbout your moto's been abused a lot, with 30K miles) would do a leak down test using a compression tester to see if your valves and rings are sealing correctly.

Don't use below 2500 RPM, don't use when the motor can't easily rev, and don't hit the rev limiter.

RESPECT your system.

ug i hate f&f, people come out of that wanting imports & NOS, instead of wanting domestic and nitrous. besides that alot of my friends hate nitrous when they dont know anything about it, they just say that causeve f&f

The guy I bought my 94 gt from has had several mustangs over the course of his life and is the grand F-ing wizard when it comes to making them fast and reliable. I have weighed the option of fogging the sh*t out of my car. I still have stock bottom end, block, and pistons but the top end is all new performance stuff. Before I started the work on the motor I thought about spraying it. Everyone I talked to around here said hit it with a 150 shot nitrous works system. I thought a 150 shot would killthemotor, but I have driven a few in the past couple of months with no mods other than that 150 shot and exhaust. Everyone of them ran stout as hell. If I am not mistaken, the gt's (87-95) have forged pistons stock, so that will help a bit with handling the juice. Jeep's recommendation of testing the motor with a compression tester is probably a goodidea too. If you go anything over 150 im sure there will have to be fuel system upgrades to keep the gas flowing enough so ur not spraying more nitrous than you are gasoline. I havent yet put the fogg on my car, but Im sure it'll come before too long.

but to answer ur question about cheap fast mods. Exhaust, gears, and a k&n filter.

150 won't kill it now but will die a slow death..just use caution...best things to have are a fuel pressure switch, and a controler,,these are exspensive but work and you car will be alot faster with the controller...I have seen a sec+ faster in 300 hp units
