I've got about 10k for a downpayment on a car... I like my v6 but I'd really like to have a car w/ power. 01 cobras are going for about 14k now.. the same as 02-03 GTs. Why? I'm considering getting an 05 GT... but I really like the look of the cobra.

i personally only have seen 99 go for that price with low miles

01 are around 16-19g's with low miles

Get the Cobra,they have more power than the 02-03 gt's and you could pick up one cheaper than a 05 gt..

 

Get a Cobra... are you stuck on the 99/01 body style? You can really find the SN95 Cobras 96-98 for 6-10k, and they are solid cars... This way you don't have a car payment and you can take the 300 a month or w/e it is and spend it on mods [8D]

 

Have to have the 99-04 body style. I had a 97 v6 and I grew tired of the way my car looked.

I've actually seen multiple 01 cobras go for 15k and less, even on this forum awhile back a silver 01 cobra with 30k miles went for 14,500.
