I passed by a car lot today and they had a 1998 Cobra for sale. It was nice kind of like a Metallic Blue color but a little darker. It had 61,000 miles in it, and was in good shape. I asked the guy how much and he said $18,000! I was shocked but not really 100% sure what they should go for! Anyone know what price they should go for?

 

Wow that is rediculous I hope nobody gives them that much dough for it. Some dealerships got ***** and what sucks is they probably will sell it for close to that much simply because people don't shop or research and dive right into it and cry about it later.
After close inspection of the car and if it met my satisfaction I'd MAYBE give them $10k
You'll find a far better deal going the private party route. Eff dealers.... Just my 2 cents

 

Yeah I am looking at a 1997 cobra with 55k on the clock and they are asking $8500.

 

Depending on condition that car is worht 6-12k in reality.

Yah guys I was like wtf when he said 18,000! I even asked him to tell me the price again and sure enough he said $18,000. I was like wow why so much and his answer it was a Cobra. He didn't even try to sell me the car. LVL he knew I knew too much and prolly wouldn't have made what he wanted for the car.
