01' COBRA MOD PATH???
I will be purchasing a 01 Cobra in or around October. Here are my goals for the car....
* 320 wheel horsepower. What will I need?
*4:10's in the rear. Is this enough gear for this car?
Also with 320 wheel and a set 4:10's what kind of quarter mile would I be looking at. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks guys.

Well, the first thing I would worry about is exhaust... then intake including throttlebody.... so I would do it like this.
1. Long tube headers + your choice of midpipe... then ofcourse a catback
2. JLT RAI or CAI.. whatever brand you decide, I like JLT
3. Your choice of throttle body.
4. SCT tuner... then a dyno tune... not sure what that will put down.. probably around 310-320 depending on what kind of dyno you are on... I would say that will get you your goal...
Depending on driver/tires... this is probably a high 12 second car.
Or you could stay stock and buy a blower [8D]
... but if you have the money seriously... I would go with the blower.

I made 301 and 305 with BBK X pipe, Borla catback and a Dynotune.
I think with a JLT CAI and Longtubes I could crack 320.
I wouldn't get a throttle body as for the Cobra's does fine and at the dyno you will show minimal gain if any at all.
Also stay away from a hand held tuner if you are planning on getting a Dynotune, they will burn a custom chip for you.

4.10's, Bassani X Pipe, Headers and X Haust, Throttle Body, Accel coils and plugs, JLT RAI,Steeda Tri Ax, King CobraHD Clutch, 275's on the rear with spacers, a custom tuneand subframe connectors.
This is my set up for my 01 Cobra and it made 322 on a Super Flow Dyno which is a conservative Dyno.
