what manual transmissions come in the 4.6l dohc cobras?

i dont know i know a guy who's gonna sell me that and the transmission that came with it for less than $1000. he said he's had it a few years and since my uncle knows the guy pretty good he gonna give it to me basicaly. he said it was running when it came out. but my uncle didnt ask the year. ima jump on it for sure...im just curious tho.

if its an 03-04 its a T-56 sixspeed so its an amazing tranny and at 1000 bucks than hex ya

2001 Cobra had the 3650, and 93-99 Cobras had the T-5 or the 45 I can't remember.... but the only transmission out of the Cobra that's special is the T56 6spd tranny.

96-99 Had the T-45 (Cobra)
If it is A T-45 your are blowing your money. You can find theese rebuilt for about $800-$900. You can find them used for about $500.
