Default Apten Ported Supercharger

Has anyone here sent their supercharger into Apten to have it ported? I am trying to put together a list of things I want done to my car and I was wondering if people have had this done and if you're happy with it. $400.00 for an extra 30-42RWHP doesn't seem that bad.

Thank for your time.

Sincerely,

Jeff

I saw a before and after dyno from MPH that sent off for one, dude got like 50 rwhp from it, went from like 480 rwhp to 530 or something crazy like that.

I haven't heard anything negative about doing this and it's something I'd actually like to do myself. I'm guessing if we do it, we'll need another tune though to account for the increased airflow, but I could be wrong. I know Apten will also change the pulley size for you as well, so something to think about. I know they also sell chip/porting combos, but I thought they were charging a bit much.

when i did my pulley, exhaust, intake and shifter, the performance shop, Lamotta's Performance, in Orlando, fl, said that would be my next best upgrade. Well worth the money. the pulley swap gave me a whole new car!!!!

Go with Stiegemeier port for the blower, tb and plenum. 60hp just for that mod. Upgrading to a better heat exchanger is a good mod.

Birch, is that another company that ports the blower? I never heard of them before if it is.

Stiegemeier has actually done a lot of the porting for Apten in the past. I just got my blower back from them about a month ago, and it's as big a difference as going from a stock Cobra to a pullied Cobra. Definitely worth the money.
