car pulling after cornering 2001 Cobra
I am learning as I goand I have never noticed this in any of my other cars so I am a little worried. When I take a corner kind of fast I notice that my car starts to pull to one side for a couple of days after that, what is causing this problem and how can I fix it? I also have another question about tires that were on the car when I bought it. Right now there are two different sizes of tires on the car. Their is 275/35ZR18 on the rears and 255/40ZR17 on the fronts, does this cause any negative effects? I am also going to be getting some 4:10's, how will the tires effect the new gears? Any info would be appreciated

When you turn left, in which direction does your car pull? Does it pull harder left when you turn left, and same for right turns? Does it happen during your brake around the corners? Also, 4.10's should have no affect on tires, although what I would do is go with a bigger rim and tire. For me, I got 3:73's since I do some highway driving and I got rid of my stock rims and got a set of 1995 Cobra R (polished) rims and went a little larger on the rear tire. I don't know the size off hand but it's like 275/40s or very close to that. Having the slightly bigger tire in the rear (different than my front tires) brought me a bit over in speed than under. After a reprogram to calibrate my speedometer, it was slightly under - true speed was like 58-59 while registered speed was 60. Now it's slightly over which is better than under =) Hope that helps.

I will have to check again b/c I am not sure but I think it pulls to the opposite sides. If I take a hard left, then it will pull right. As for the brakes I do not hear anything rubbing or anything and I just changed out the rotors and pads front and rear and had all the fluid replaced since it had alot of moisture in it. Maybe my calipers are bad because of all the moisture that was in the fluid, my ABS kicks in sometimes when it shouldn't maybe that has something to do with the car pulling.

rear wheel bearings, jack the car up and see if the tire will have any play by grabbing the top and bottom of it and wiggling it. if it does its a bad wheel baring which is a pain

I will have to check the bushings, I think it would be easy for someone to miss checking them because I get full inspections on the car a couple of times a year. As for the bearings I just had one of the rear bearings replaced a couple of months ago but they said the other one was fine. thanks for all the advice
