when i had the tr3650 in my car, i hated the stock shifter. the stick was long, the throw was long, and it felt too rubbery. i went to a steeda tri ax, HUGE difference!!! short throw, short stick, and very solid feel!! sorrry for disagreeing with u, lol!!

If you like the stock shifter, install an aftermarket shifter and you'll be even happier. Shifting will be more crisp and the throws shorter. I had a TriAx on my 2003 Cobra and was happy with it. However, if I were to recommend a shifter it would be definitely an MGW. Best on the market IMO. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy a quieter shifter by installing a set of my shifter gaskets. Best $6.00 you'll ever spend. [8D]
