Depends on how good your tuner is.. I have seen people lose power.. you really can't predict it.

Honestly, you probably don't need a "custom tune" - a canned tune would be more then enough.

The tuner is sitting on my shelf. Just waiting to call up Brenspeed to order a tune.

I am getting my dyno tune tomorrow with the SCT x-cal or livewire - gonna figure out the difference tomorrow. I will let you know what increases I get.

I don't know how they're going to do it. From what I understand, I believe they're going to do three runs. I am going to be asking them several questions. I would like an initial dyno to see where I stand, then another after it's been tuned with the SCT.

How many runs does it usually take? Isn't it bad for the motor to run to 6800 RPMs over and over like that?

i would say no less than 5 pullys. normally they pull out all the timing, do as many pulls as they need to get the air fuel right, then they add the timing back in for optimum hp readings.

Wow, I had no idea they would do all of this! I'm actually curious now how much extra HP I'd get with just my mods. I just got an oil change with the teflon additive to prepare for this rigorous activity.
