Friday I bought a 03 Cobra from the orginal owner. I found it on autotrader and drove downTuesday to take a look. It was a 2 hour drive but worth it. The car is a 10 in and out. All stock, and all the paper work was included in the deal.It has 20,000 miles on it. The guy wanted $25,000, I offered him $23,500, he excepted it. I love the car, Its even better than I thought it would be. I have no regrets selling my Foxbody at all. The pics I took do itno justice, I'll be taking some more soon and I'll post em up. Also a big thanks to Cobra Bob for the link to stangshiftergaskets, it was a huge help to me, and to all who gave me great advice.

Congrats!!! So.. when's the first mod going in? lolol...
Get use to the power.. it's a lot to take in... One thing - if you dont know already... dont go WOT in 5th and 6th gear.. and don't stay in boost to long.. and if your car starts to hop - get OUT OF THE THROTTLE!!!!

Mods, not sure yet. I would like to make 600hp to the wheels one day. I don't want it to losevalue though. Not that Iwillever sell it.Itspretty fast, I've always had real fast cars, so the power I'm use to. Its just an amazing car, looks so mean and has a great stance.

oh ok well nevermind about the getting use to it thing then :-)...
well plan carefully, because 600rwhp is a twin screw swap.. with tuning and supporting mods can cost a bit of money...

the one i found also was completely stock cept for cai and a short shifter. so i planned on getting mid pipe and cat back.
What type of mid pipe are you going with? and what type of cat back? i've been leaning on a bassani catted x and a borla catback. but now i want to looook for an h pipe i hear theyre not that raspy.
